Leslie R. Murdock Navarro is the founder and CEO of Murdock-Navarro – The Memorial Events chapels and Schenectady Direct Services. A licensed funeral director since 2006, Leslie began her career in the funeral service industry in 2002 after studying at Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Decatur, GA. 

Her professional journey reflects years of hands-on experience with family-owned funeral homes and prestigious firms in New York. Guided by integrity, transparency, and compassion, Leslie launched her own Memorial Event Chapel, and Direct Services in Schenectady, NY to offer families affordable services, and personalized end-of-life celebrations.

With a deep belief that no two lives are the same, she ensures each memorial service is a heartfelt, customized tribute that truly reflects the individual being honored. Leslie and her team are committed to making every family feel supported, respected, and heard providing services that bring meaning, comfort, dignity, trust, and respect.
